Monzo PDF statements are generated per month with categories already attached and, for some accounts, transactions in more than one currency. We keep each currency in its own section and reconcile each one separately rather than mixing them into a single total.
Statement Mill doesn't use per-bank templates, so a Monzo statement is read the same way as one we've never seen — dates, descriptions and amounts land in the right columns because the layout is understood, not matched against a stored pattern. Every export is then reconciled against the statement's own opening and closing balances before you download it.
